Infrared Imagery

In 1999, Lancaster County was in a severe drought. The county obtained 1-meter infrared imagery that allowed us to do some unique analysis. Where there is a fracture in the bedrock there is a little bit more water available. The vegetation above those fractures is then a little healthier and therefore reflects more infrared spectrum.
